Activity 1
Students receive a text which is about a group of friends that spend their winter holiday in a castle. While reading students should fill in the adjectives. Then read the text again with the whole class and correct and also explain the meaning of the unknown adjectives.
Activity 2
Teacher asks the students to choose one of the characters and also at least 5 adjectives to describe him in a five-line composition.
Activity 3
Students come in front of the classroom and instead of reading their composition they will draw the character along with other things that will help his mates discovering the adjectives and also the character.
You are supposed to teach these adjectives. Do you mean to say, with activity 1, that they already know the words? How do you engage students in the task, how do you motivate them? Who reads the text? Who corrects?
RăspundețiȘtergereI think I need you to tell me more about the text so that I could understand activity 2. You do realize that your students have not used the words in speaking yet...
3. I believe that drawing is an activity that potentially engages the students and stirs their curiosity and participation. In that respect, I think activity 3 could be activity 1 in fact.
